Route 66

What do you do if you're a Desert Bighorn Sheep wanting to move across the hillsides to mate and eat when there's a gigantic freeway in the way? It's impossible. So a special bridge and tunnel has been built, as great cost.

A lot of tourists love to pose for the camera.
Between Las Vegas and Williams there is a section of the original Route 66 so we dropped off the big freeway to have a look. There are several small towns along the route that take full advantage of the nostalgic tourists' but it's all lighthearted and fun and a lot cheesy.

We added our signed $5 note to the wall.

I thought I'd ordered a light chicken taco for lunch. It arrived the size of a dinner plate, plus cream cheese and salsa!

Every night in Williams there is a staged shootout full of humour.
